Stock market July-Aug 2012

So the week of Aug 08, 2011 was eventful–astrologically, it coincided with Mars (fire, war, military, action, anger) forming a square (tense aspect, conflict) to the existing square between Uranus (revolution, electricity, sudden change, innovation, IT, computers, flying) & Pluto (death, rebirth, nuclear, power, energy, masses, control, extermination, manipulation).

The Uranus-Pluto square is ongoing and will remain in the skies for years, until the final, slow but steady, separation begins around March of 2017. Between now and then, these two planets (and the issues they symbolize) will remain in a more or less precise square (tense energy). For economy, this would indicate tensions, with occasional eruptions, between forces that want to control (e.g., masses of people, approaches to energy, etc.) & forces demanding change/breakthrough/innovation (e.g., alternative energy sources).

Whenever transiting planets “trigger” this Uranus-Pluto square by conjuncting, squaring, or opposing the sensitive degrees, we can expect moves in the stock market. The “stronger” the planets, the slower they move, the bigger the effect.

The next time Mars will trigger the Uranus-Pluto square, similar to the way it happened the week of Aug 8, 2011, will be the week of July 16, 2012. On the 16th, the Sun (ego, will, personal expression) will be squaring Saturn (pessimism, conservative approach, rigid attitude, boundaries), so I expect that week to be an eventful one again.

The week of August 13, 2012, is also noteworthy–Mars will conjunct (uniting of energies) Saturn, while Venus (sweetness, love, money, pleasures) will trigger the Uranus-Pluto square. Venus by itself would not bring about a huge market move, although it could color the trading mood for a day. However, since this event is occurring at the same time as the Mars-Saturn conjunction, it collaborates the expectation that the 3rd week of August 2012 will be a significant one. Overall, I expect a down trend.  Likely a significant week for metals (Mars=iron, Saturn=steel)–not sure of the direction for metals yet, but anything that’s dug up from the earth (Saturn) may actually receive a boost of energy (Mars), for better or worse.

Energy of crystals & water

Interesting dream… one small part of it had to do with visiting a new business—the owner had built the office around the spring, so the spring was literally in the center of it… As we walked outside, the ground was “seeded” with crystals—they were placed (on purpose) in a very dense grid all around the building… The man commented that one can also use crystals to charge the water with positive energy; in particular, one could program the crystal with desired thoughts/ideas, place it in a glass, and drink the water in which the crystal has been sitting… Apparently, that’s what his employees were encouraged to do…

Neat idea, I may try it… certainly, this guy seemed like a nice boss 🙂

August, 2011 stock market

Very brief summary—just putting my previously twitted predictions in a blog. May get back to this to elaborate, if have time.

Quick look at astro stuff indicates Aug 8-24, 2011 could be eventful times: fires, violence, mechanical breakdowns, floods… Esp. Aug 9-10 & 20-24.

  •  Aug 9-10: fires, violence, extreme weather or event(s) [even nuclear power-related], accidents, anger, impatience.
  •  Aug 20-24 (esp 24): floods, water, delays, impasse, stalemate, catch22, pessimism, caution, restriction.

Stock market will react—most likely by trading down (although gold and swiss frank, etc., may go up—whatever people feel is a more secure investment).

  • Aug 8-11 may seem more exciting than usual & some may buy, hoping to profit by catching good stocks at a low point, but on
  • Aug 20-24 pessimism will rule—probably overall trading volume will be low and/or people will be pulling cash out.

Interestingly, both times exactly trigger points in horoscope of the USA:

  • Aug 9-10 = Jupiter & Venus conjunction (relates to power, international affairs, money luxuries, and pleasures).
  • Aug 20-24 = Sun & Saturn square (symbolically represents tension, developing strong identity by going through hardships, hard work, strict father, compromised health).

I’d monitor the market, watch the news and use other indicators around those times to confirm the direction. I do, however, expect these to be the days of some news/activity that may impact the market.

Impressions about Elenin comet and YU55 asteroid

So a few days ago I learned about the Elenin comet and YU55 asteroid and was wondering what effect their approach/alignment(s) occurring this fall may have on the Earth. To get a glimpse into that, I wrote some questions on 16 blank cards. Then, I drew these cards at random (w/o looking, numbering them with my eyes closed as they got pulled out), and wrote down any mental images/impressions I got. I wrote 16 questions total, two of which were related to this topic, while the remaining 14 had to do with my personal life. To emphasize, for each answer/impression I didn’t know which of the 16 questions I was answering. Once I answered all 16, I matched the questions to answers. Here’s what I got for the two questions about the comet/asteroid situation:

Q6 of 16: “What is the energy around Elenin and/or YU55 this fall?”

A6 of 16: “Clock tower, Missouri, barn, Barnstaple, countryside, cows; some unusual animal appears out of place – Lion in Midwest? Unusual – surfing on a small normally placid lake. Missiles shooting into sky. Dark & red sunset/sunrise. Sharp claws – or claw-like silvery objects falling/descending from the sky. ”

Q8 of 16: “Should I stockpile supplies to prepare for comet/asteroid impact?”

A8 of 16: “Indigenous hut, knight – someone peaking through narrow opening – eyes shifting left and right – checking who’s out there – kinda unsettled — preparing for possible attack. Bakery, possibly preparing for (royal) wedding – woman trying on a hat with flowers [that] looks like cake. Mountains (3?) – orange, far away, with snow peaks; princess crowned; [something that looks like a] crown – [same object] also [looks like a] gate/opening into domed tunnel or cave dwelling…; landslide as volcano about to erupt; once [the volcano] calms down – all smooth, but killed all vegetation, only frozen lava [is left]; face of a child – ½ of child’s left eye (boy, dark hair); lots of markers rolling [on the ground] – dark pink with white; Amish woman on a one-horse carriage – austere (nun-like); and can do man’s job – strong; young woman with long dark hair hanging sheets (blue – white) outside [to dry] – coy, youthful, feminine and playful – contrast to Amish woman – young lady is much more approachable and seductive. Globe rotating [like one of those plastic globes in swing meridian mounting] and/or may be she’s pregnant and it’s her belly (?) [i.e., bulging belly of the young woman]; same child’s face again. Missiles shooting parachuted people to get them far away quickly (?) “Ice cream house” – image/fantasy of a perfect house – but it is too small – can’t get in and live there. Some complicated dancing ritual or performance – blue and red with glitter [colors refer to outfits; it looked like a man and a woman dressed in East Indian colorful silk outfits with gold patterns or glitter – in the first ritual/dance performance they wore blue, second—red].”

Interestingly, in none of the other 14 answers (to questions related strictly to my personal life) did I get any impression of “missiles,” which in my mind’s eye looked like Russian “Katyushas.” 🙂

Iron (GNI) price prediction April-May 2011

Brief post to get another April 2011 market prediction out quickly. This time it’s for iron ore, and more specifically, for the Great Northern Iron Ore Properties (GNI) stock. I may add details with pics later, but here is a recap:

  • I predict that the price of GNI shares will go up till April 28-29, 2011; with a reversal (likely a drop) to begin on May 2, 2011

 

  •  I looked at GNI chart max/min pattern & corresponding transits of Mars (symbolic ruler of iron in astrology) to outside planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto—yes, Pluto is still a planet in my book :D) & noted the correlations

 

  •  On April 18, there was an exact opposition between Mars and Saturn (“downer” combo, Mars symbolizes iron, Saturn—steel and any earth-derived materials, like metals, rocks, etc.), so many iron/steel stocks traded down from last Friday (e.g., read this article, “Iron Ore-Spot prices fall on slow China steel demand” http://tinyurl.com/42fmr57)

 

  •  this corresponded to a bottom from a drop that began on April 11-12, 2011, when Mars squared Pluto (Pluto—anything hidden, excavated/mined, x-rayed, nuclear power, death, etc.; this was also a “downer” combo);
  • additionally, on April 18, Pluto was exactly in the midpoint between Saturn and Uranus—tension, push-n-pull in opposite directions between the need to conserve, be cautious and desire to cut loose/greater freedom, were being balanced/focused by Pluto (perhaps reworking mining approaches/strategies [as well as approaches to handling powerful energies, like nuclear—just a side note]?).

 

  •  On May 1 (Sunday), there will be a conjunction between Mars and Jupiter (“happy” expansive combo)

 

  •  Previous Mars-Jupiter conjunction on Feb 12, 2009 corresponded to a major MAX for GNI, so I expect a similar pattern to repeat on April 28-29, 2011

 

  •  Basically, buy GNI on April 19 and sell on April 28 or possibly 29 (shortly before the exact aspect, so as to not miss it);
  • I’ll put this as a practice trade (no money, just for fun) & we’ll see what happens on May 2 🙂 FYI: last trade on April 18 was at $102.49 (baseline).

Follow-up on 04.04.11 predictions

Annotated results/analyses, with examples for GLD, DOW J, GE and USL (04.04.11; EDT, NYC).

In general, all intraday moves were relatively minor. It appears that the power of any aspect is the strongest shortly before (w/in .5-1.5 degrees) it becomes exact. So, by Monday, the effect of Sunday’s New Moon has apparently faded away.

This time, in addition to conjunctions formed by transiting planets to the daily horoscope angles I took into consideration some squares and trines as well (see below). Some of them worked, but conjunctions are clearly more powerful.

It’s best if one can use the stock chart from the day before to check how similar aspects played out that day—slower moving planets will be in virtually the same position the following day, so a similar market pattern is likely to be observed the next day (w/slightly different timing, scale & possibly different direction, for various reasons). Friday to Monday change is more significant in terms of planetary movements, making the previous trading day chart less useful for predictions.

[1]   10:43am (Mars & Uranus square AC, Venus w/in 1.5 degrees from conjuncting MC)= Beginning of a [relatively] sharp drop. I expected this to be a min.

[2]  10:51am (Venus conjunct MC exact) = Local max, as predicted.

[3]  11:40am (Saturn square MC exact) = Quick sharp drop (drop as predicted, but short-lived). Interesting that downward movement coincided with a traditionally “negative” planet forming a traditionally “negative” aspect.

[4]  11:49am (Jupiter square MC exact) = Tiny local max (on a much smaller scale than expected). Apparently, a traditionally “positive” planet forming a traditionally “negative” aspect “pulled” market back up. 🙂

[5]  12:10pm (Mars and Uranus conjunct MC exact) = There was an upward movement from 12:10pm to 1:04pm for GLD, as predicted, but 12:10pm was not a bottom/min, as I expected. It was a minor local max for GLD, and a major daily MAX point for DOW J, exceeded very slightly only at 3:41pm, shortly before closing. For USL, there was a volume jump at 12:14pm (see pic for #6).

[6]  12:59pm, 1:04pm (Sun, then Jupiter conjunct MC exact) = Local max, as predicted, although not as pronounced as I would have expected; perhaps due to the continuing opposition from Saturn (Sun+Jupiter = happiness, joy, expansion; whereas Saturn = pessimism, caution, restriction; opposition = being pulled in opposite directions). There was an increase in volume for some entities though (e.g., USL).

[7]  1:30pm (Mercury conjunct MC exact) = For GLD, local min (at 1:29pm), as predicted; an upward movement continued for the rest of the day. For DOW J—major daily MAX point, at which a sharp decline began (also at 1:29pm); in contrast, for some other entities it was a point at which a sharp decline ended (e.g., GE at 1:33pm).

[8] 1:44pm (Moon conjunct MC exact) = Not much happening for GLD; however, for DOW J, it was a local max point (as predicted, although I expected this to hold for GLD) with a sharp reversal and a big drop.

[9]  2:15pm (Sun trine MC exact) = For GLD, an upward through (with a local max at 2:18pm); for DOW J & USL, a minor local max, as predicted.

[10]2:21pm (Jupiter trine MC exact) = For GLD, a downward through (with a local max at 2:18pm); for DOW J, a minor local max; for USL, a local min with a sharp jump up at 2:22pm.­ I expected this to be a max, so the results are mixed.

April 04, 2011 more detailed stock market prediction

OK, here is a quick one, as it’s getting late (this is being posted at 12:51am EDT): A bit more detail (EDT, NYC) for April 04, 2011. This is now specifically for GLD, but major activity points will work for many (if not most) other stocks/ETFs/indexes too.

Bolded times are the ones at which I expect more significant activity and the ones I am the most sure of. I am the least sure of#4 —seemed to work on Fr to form a daily max at 2:30pm, but there was another signature present, that’s not there on Mon, so will see.

  1. Cld be movement fr abt 10:43am up(?) till abt 10:51-52 (cld be one of daily max points).
  2. As early as 11:40am or as late as 11:49am, a movement may begin (probably down) to reach major (min?) point at abt 12:10pm. Then, the reverse move (up?) begins to reach a high(?) at abt 1:04pm (an earlier smaller peak also possible at 12:59pm, so there cld be a double-peak formation).
  3. Possible increase in activity at abt 1:30pm & at 1:44pm; there may possibly be an upward(?) move bet 1:30pm to reach a 1:44pm high(?).
  4. Another possible daily max at abt 2:15pm and/or at 12:21 (possibly double peak or time of general daily high).

Quick follow-up on 03.29.11 predictions

In sum, conjunctions formed by transiting planets to horoscope angles (EDT, NYC) did show correlation with intraday swings for many stocks/ETFs. In particular, 2 aspects seemed to correspond w/increased activity in many stock charts I checked:

(1) Around 11:31am = Pluto conjunct Descendent = I was expecting a major daily MAX (yes, there was one–see pic2); and

(2) Around 12-55pm to 1:20pm = Sun, then shortly Jupiter conjunct Midheaven (with Saturn at the opposite end at Nadir) = I was expecting a left-skewed bell curve similar to the one on 03.28.11 (yes, there often was an upward move at that time, although the curve was more pronounced for some stocks/ETFs than others. See pic 3; interesting that GLD showed a fairly clear curve, as gold is typically associated w/Sun in astrology).

In simpler words, these were the times when (1) Pluto was setting in the West & (2) Sun and Jupiter were right above our heads.

Some possible max/mins for 03.29.11 (based on intraday planetary aspects to MC & DC) and corresponding patterns from 03.28.11. This is mainly for DOW and NASDAQ. Times are EDT. The direction may be off, but the times of activity should be about right. 🙂

Trees under water in Washington DC?

In a dream, saw a bridge to my left and some trees with fall coloring lining a river bank in Washington DC area (according to my understanding in a dream). The trees were about half-way submerged under water. After googling some pics of the area, the closest match to what I saw seems to be George Mason Memorial Bridge over Potomac river.

Wonder what that’s all about…
